Our mission is to prepare students to achieve academically. In order to keep the high-quality learning environment in the classroom, our small class size (max. 16 students), devoted teachers and well-designed programs are the keys to success. All the teachers are carefully screened; not only are they teachers but also act as role models to the students. Our teachers get to know each child, including their interests and passions.
We intend to challenge the students with a rigorous program of inquiry and study, in turn for them to challenge themselves to higher standards and reach for excellence in their lives. We prepare our students intellectually while developing a love of learning and sound judgment. Thus, before every semester begins, all materials and curriculums have to be carefully evaluated to ensure the high quality. We keep looking for any new resources to improve our programs.
Discover Learning Center provides courses and enrichment programs to students from elementary school, middle school and high school students. TJ prep with English Language and Math program is well known for being a highly successful program in Northern Virginia area. English Language programs for 5th, 6th, and 7th students are so successful that 16 seats are usually taken quickly. Math programs are very impressive with positive feedback and keep the students coming back. We have students from 'The Potomac School' and 'Nysmith'.
